The Opera.

The 1.500 fountains of Rome, in the streets, squares, in the parks, in the yards, are the soul of this project.

It's an audio-video opera that makes the language of music to be an interpretation of the cultural value and the force of suggestion of this elements, full of beauty, history, often real masterpieces, and always sources of artistic inspiration.
This one is the first of a DVD series, and through static and dynamic shooting of fountains and aqueducts, with the comment only by musical composition made by some of the most famous Italian composers, convey to the spectator the real feelings that the fountains transmitted to the artists involved.
The fountain's shape and the visual game suggested to the composers melodies of different types, from symphonic to rock, from jazz to pop, performed and recorded especially for the event.

This Opera is based on musical language: there are no speaked comments or technical and historical news on the fountains; the music only underlines the images, enriched by the sound of the water of every fountain, that takes life talking with its real voice.

In the book that comes with the Opera you'll find all the historical references, news and info on every fountain included in the DVD.
